Designer/Boutique Owner Guidelines

PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING

  • Designers/boutique owners must be 18 years of age and older to participate.

  • Each designer/boutique owner will be responsible for model selection/fittings, runway rehearsals, music selection, securing hair and make-up artists, providing clothing/accessories and other logistics regarding his/her showcase. We will provide several model castings, 2 runway rehearsals/choreography and additional hair and make up artists at the event.

  • Each designer/boutique owner will be allotted from 8 -12 runway looks, totaling 8 -12 runway models. No prop or mannequin models permitted in a showcase. There will be no shared models among designers/boutique owners. A designer/boutique owner can use upto 4 of the same models within his/her showcase (with at least 10 looks).  Showcase with less than 10 looks will not be able to use the same models.

  • Each designer/boutique owner will be allotted upto 2 backstage participants (including a hair stylist and make up artist). Your beauty staff will need to have a backstage pass, so please submit names to Style & Glam's representative before or by 2 weeks prior to show/event.  Here are the lists of representatives you can contact.

  • Every designer/boutique owner will have up to 10 minutes for his/her showcase. It's strongly encouraged to bring a wow factor to your showcase. 

  • All music must be instrumental or few words and approved by a Style & Glam's representative. All music must be submitted by designated date in MP3/4 format to email styleandglamproductions@yahoo.com.

  • Each designer/boutique owner will have his/her own space (backstage) to prepare.  All details including arrival time, set up/breakdown rules will be addressed prior to shoot, fashion show and special event.

  • It is NOT mandatory for designers/boutique owners to sell apparel/accessories at event.  If you are participating ONLY in our runway, you do you NOT have to secure a paid Showcase Package (Showcase B - D).  NOTE: If you do not wish to sell apparel/accessories at event, please select Showcase A.

  • Designers/boutique owners who would like to sell apparel and accessories, MUST secure a Showcase Package with a $50 deposit. Payment installments are provided. Showcase Fees are refundable up to 2 months prior to show/event.   • Every designer/boutique owner that has a Showcase Package with a booth (Showcase B - D) MUST have a booth attendant at all times.  

  • Each designer/boutique owner that have a Showcase Package with a booth (Showcase B - D) can decorate the booth at his/her own discretion with a few exceptions: no items tacked/pinned on curtains, no sexually explicit, no political, racial, cultural or gender based text and/or materials is permitted.

  • All designers/boutique owners MUST attend final runway rehearsal to participate in fashion show.  Those who can NOT attend, MUST send a representative in his/her place.  Otherwise, designer will not be permitted to participate in fashion show and all paid Showcase Package fees will be forfeited.

  • Designers/boutique owners that are chronically tardy, no shows and call offs to meetings, photo/video shoots, fittings and events will be in violation and may result in termination of future event participation.

  • Drugs, violence, offensive behavior, lewd photos/posts will not be tolerated and result in immediate termination of participation.  Showcase Package fees will not be refunded in these instances.

  • Style & Glam is not responsible for damaged equipment, personal injury & liability made by participating designers/boutique owners, backstage staff, models, hair and make up artists and event attendees.

  • Style & Glam is not responsible for any lost, misplaced or stolen items, equipment, etc at photo shoots, fashion shows and special events. 

  • Violation of any guidelines may result in termination of one or all upcoming events.

SHOWCASE D

$300

IMPORTANT:
If you opt to not sell your apparel/accessories (Showcase A) and just wish to participate in the fashion show, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT.
All designers/ boutique owners MUST complete Designer/Boutique Application.
